• Codes you download without an account hold your website address directly. They don’t pass through QR Cody and keep working whether or not QR Cody does.
• Codes made with an account send each scan through QR Cody so it can be counted and so you can change where the code points. They work while your account is open and QR Cody is running.

Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. Give us an email address you can receive mail at. You need to be at least 16 to create an account.

You’re responsible for where your codes point. Don’t use QR Cody to:

• send people to phishing, scams, malware or anything deceptive
• send people to anything illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights
• disguise where a code really leads
• overload, probe or interfere with the service, or automate account creation

If a code breaks these rules, we may disable or delete it, or close the account, without notice. Scans of a disabled code won’t reach its website.

The Free plan includes one tracked code and the last 30 days of its scans. Pro includes unlimited codes and your full scan history, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you upgrade.

Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record, and its terms apply to the purchase. Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing; Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you think you’ve been charged in error, email us.

If you move from Pro to Free, all your codes keep working and keep recording scans, but you can’t make new ones beyond the Free allowance, and only your first code can be edited. The others become read-only until you upgrade again: they still send people to their link, but you can’t change it.

Your codes, links and logos stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them only to run QR Cody for you. Only upload logos you have the right to use.

We work to keep QR Cody running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change features over time. If we ever shut QR Cody down, we’ll give account holders at least 30 days’ notice by email. Codes downloaded without an account aren’t affected.

QR Cody is provided “as is”. Before you print a code, scan it to check it goes where you expect. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or reprinting costs, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can delete any of your codes in the app; a deleted code stops working straight away, including printed copies, and its scans are deleted. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, and its codes stop working the same way. We may close accounts that break these terms.

If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll tell account holders by email before they take effect. Using QR Cody after that means you accept the new terms.
